A, E, I, O, U, F, NG, H, K, L, M, N, P, T, V (Biggs 1971, Stanley 1989) - may be incomplete. NG is spelled G in the the 1914 Bible.

Remarks
Linguistically close to Tongan. The alternate language name Niuefekai is probably not used by Niueans themselves.
